Jazz it up !

A technique based Masculine Birthday card which didn't go well !
Does the bg remind you of partylights ?? NO??  he he.It was the original idea ! I thought of rainbow colored floor lighting with light beams going upward a perfect backdrop for a the musician.

Started by masking lower part of the card and then I swiped the distress ink pads directly on water color paper.Sprayed with water and placed the plastic over it get texture. Even after 2-3 attempts I didn't get the effect:( Kept it as it is and  stamped the image from Rock it Stamp(Visible Images) First and second generation stamping to show movement. Some more stamping with texture stamp (Bo bunny). Finished off by stamping the sentiment from same set.

Floral Birthday Card

No Marks for guessing the inspiration behind this card ! (If you haven't guessed already )Its none other than Super Talented Hussena !!I have been greatly influenced by her card making style be it handmade flowers, floral sprays or color combos on her cards. Thanks a lot Hussena for creating such gorgeous cards and constantly inspiring :)

Coming to the card,I stamped the flowers and leaves from In Bloom :Addie's garden(Winnie & Walter)on water color paper and did no line coloring using LSG magicals (Ramblin Rose bud & Hottie Pattotie Pink).Used brush pens for shadows(Akashiya watercolor brush pens). Then painted loose strips on a card panel using LSG Moon Shadow Mist(Jolly Roger Red). Decorated the card with vellum banner, doily, glitter circle frame and few sequins.

The sentiment is from The Big,the Bold and the Happy(Winnie & Walter).

Money Envelopes

and it continues..

The shabby chic fever ! He..he.. I have something other than cards(thankfully) to share today !Its wedding season here in India and money envelopes are in most demand.I made few using Sigma cardstock as base & patterned papers(both from Papericious).

For the first one I scored bottom half of the envelope to create texture.Adhered Lace and and tulle.

Tried to match the color of handmade rose with the ones on pattern paper(festive berries pretty close!)The sentiment is from Together we bloom stamp set(Studio Katia)Flickred diluted crackle paint to make it shabbier.

Shows all the pretty patterns fom the pack, its the cover of the paper pack;).Applied texture paste through a stencil and rest all is same tulle, flowers.

Glad I could use the laces I have been hoarding since long (Thanks Sathya)!I also used a delicate die-cut(Thanks to Dr.Sonia)The sentiment is from Mudra.

Next one is also pretty similar

Sentiment from IBS .white pollen home made.

And now the last one

Used criss cross chipboard(papericious) painted with crackle paint and LSG grey mist.

Well thats all from me today ,Do you have a favorite ? Thanks for dropping :) Have a great day !
